“Cartier: Islamic Art and the Search for Modernity.”
MATTE joined Cartier in Dallas, Texas for their landmark exhibition in collaboration with the Dallas Museum of Art, “Cartier: Islamic Art and the Search for Modernity.” The exhibition was a sprawling wonderland of high jewelry from various time periods in the Maison’s deep history, all with the through-line of influence from Islamic Art from the 7th Century and beyond.
MATTE’s role as creative content production partner included all video materials surrounding the exhibition, from Creative Direction and development through video post-production.
CONTENT CAPTURE
Over five days, Cartier and MATTE continued our years-long partnership by creating a series of video assets that were published to Cartier’s social media globally.
They included a dynamic video tour of the exhibition, featuring stunning editorialized footage of the breathtaking pieces, an educational short video about specific motifs and patterns drawn from Islamic Art, an Opening Celebrations video featuring the exhibition’s high-profile opening Gala, and a multi-cam capture of a dynamic panel and talkback featuring leaders from the brand, the museum, and the exhibition producers.
Another collaboration between MATTE and Cartier, the experience yielded a striking visual that allowed the exhibition to shine beyond Dallas and across the digital landscape.
