For the second consecutive year, Marc Jacobs enlisted MATTE to deliver cinematic capture of the brand’s Fall/Winter Runway show at the iconic New York Public Library. Through a dynamic creative approach and edit perspective, swift and focused turnaround less than 16 hours after wrap left quality uncompromised.
RUNWAY TO THE WORLD
A livestream component beamed directly to Times Square billboards and digital channels brought foot traffic and broader audiences around the globe into the world of the collection in real time. MATTE and partners integrated all four show cameras into the stream, cutting between each to further elevate the show’s live element.
A FLAIR FOR THE DRAMATIC
Avant-garde. Experimental. Conspicuous. The FW22 show collection was dominated by a heightened eccentricity, championed by Gigi and Bella Hadid in an enthusiastic return for American couture. A four-camera approach captured each unique look at various angles and checkpoints, highlighting detail as well as scale.

OFF THE RUNWAY
Largely unprecedented for runway capture executions, MATTE was given the opportunity to stage choreographed formations of models in key looks, creating filmic shots responsive to the designs, along with interior B-roll capture, as critical mood-building and storytelling elements.
EXPEDITIOUS TURNAROUND
Speed and quality often do not mix. Coordinated and efficient communication and processes between internal and client teams allowed for fast-tracked and seamless methods of working, ensuring punctual delivery without sacrificing standard.
