To amplify the launch of their PP Pink collection, Valentino sought MATTE’s creative direction and production support; the result was a guerrilla marketing activation in Iconic locations around their boutique in Soho.

Valentino wanted to paint the block in their signature pink to attract foot traffic to the storefront. Branded elements varied based on the locations we were able to activate at; Valentino wanted to explore custom window vinyling, a pink floral takeover, LED signage, custom pink seating, napkins, stickers and other opportunities for branding.

Dominique Ansel

At Dominique Ansel, we created pink vinyl window accents, and provided pink seating for guests. Giveaway elements included printed custom pink boxes and branded napkins to be given out with the free Cronuts offered by the bakery. Pink QR code signage was made available so visitors to could scan to access a webpage where they could learn more about the Pink PP Collection.

Spring Iconic Sweet Shop

At Spring Iconic Sweet Shop, all the windows were covered in translucent pink vinyl and featured special edition V Magazines with cover stars dressed in the Pink PP Collection. In addition to the window vinyl and pink awning, we set up a floral giveaway booth, complete with fresh bouquets, flower buckets, wrapping paper, and postcards to be given away to guests.
